I can't tell you how excited I am to see someone covering メランコリーの軌跡, Merankorii no Kiseki, "Traces of Melancholy". I LOVE YouTube! This song, originally sung by 松永夏代子, Matsunaga Kayoko. Here Estonian string band Urban Symphony sings a follow-up to their Eurovision song, called "Päikese Poole", or "Towards The Sun." I do enjoy this song very much, and it's hard for me to explain why, really. The voice, the strings, the language ... it sounds familiar yet extraordinarily foreign simultaneously.
